The Ministry of the Presidency and Justice of the Government of Cantabria has announced the awarding to INAER of the contract for a helicopter transport service to perform medical and search and rescue services. The service, which began on 1st January this year, operates a Bell 412 helicopter which is based in Santander and is equipped with necessary medical equipment to handle medical emergencies as well as an air crane for rescues. INAER will be responsible for the operation of this service and the maintenance of the aircraft over the next two years.
