One of the basic pillars which guarantees the quality and safety of the operations and services provided by INAER is the experience, professionalism and continuous training of our humann assets. The commitment shown by INAER to this area is undeniable, as is shown by the more than EUR 8 million invested in training activities in 2010.

INAER centralizes the training of its pilots at its TRTO centers (Type Rating Training Organization), officially recognized by the competent Civil Aviation authorities, which allows the company to:

  • Provide courses and conferences on Operational Safety
  • Develop training plans which are specialized by type of operation and /or aircraft
  • Select, train and retain the best pilots
  • Increase the levels of quality and safety in our services
  • Centralize and standardize safety procedures

INAER TRTO has  95 Type rating Instructors (TRI) and 60 Type rating examiners (TRE) spread across Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, and Chile. During 2010, more than 500 pilots attended at least one of the TRTO centers run by INAER, whether to finish their studies and obtain the required licences or to renew or update their training. The training given at the TRTO centers includes all the courses, training sessions and verifications which operators need in order to be able to guarantee maximum safety in their services:

  • Type ratings
  • Renewal of type rating and instrument rating (IR) licences
  • Recurrent training and certification
  • Operational procedure courses
  • SAR, HEMS and firefighting courses
  • CRM courses
  • Dangerous goods
  • Safety

The INAER TRTO centers undergo regular internal and external auditing, with the latter being carried out by AESA and AENOR (ISO 9001). The internal audits carried out at the INAER training centers allow us to reassure our clients and employees that we have the strictest training programmes possible, which allow us to carry out our work with the best possible safety and efficiency.
