INAER has a Bell 412 EP simulator - the first to be owned by a private company in Spain, which offers the latest technology for the training of the company's pilots. This flight simulator, which is located in the TRTO center in Albacete, complies with the Level 3 JAR-STD 2H FTD (Flight Training Device) guidelines and includes movement.
In technological terms it features a 200 degree surround-screen on which the scenarios and meteorogical conditions programmed for the flight can be viewed. These are situations such as snow, wind and rain which would be highly risky or impossible to carry out on a real flight, but in simulator training they can take place without any risk.
INAER has an Eurocopter EC-135 flight simulator device in the UK for the training of Medical Emergency & Police Surveillance crews.
Whereas a simulator training is vital to increase the safety of flight operations, INAER also has agreements with international training centers for renting its simulators for most of the helicopter models of its fleet, such as EADS-CASA, Flightsafety and others.
